[1681] A phenomenon that is defiled and subject to defilement (saṅkiliṭṭhasaṅkilesiko dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon that is defiled and subject to defilement by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given weight to lust (rāga), one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises. Having given weight to view, one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust arises, view arises.
Conascence-predominance: A predominant (adhipati) that is defiled and subject to defilement is a condition for the associated aggregates (khandhā) by predominance condition.
