[677] A phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbo dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given weight to lust (rāga) to be abandoned by seeing, one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust to be abandoned by seeing arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises. Having given weight to wrong view, one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust to be abandoned by seeing arises, wrong view arises.
Conascence-predominance: The predominant [factor] (adhipati) to be abandoned by seeing is a condition for the associated aggregates (khandhā) by predominance condition.
