[576] A phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbo dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati). Object-predominance: having given weight to lust (rāga) that is to be abandoned by seeing, one relishes and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust to be abandoned by seeing … view (diṭṭhi) arises; having given weight to view … Conascence-predominance: the predominance (adhipati) to be abandoned by seeing is a condition for the associated aggregates by way of predominance condition.
