[242] Conascent (sahajāta) with an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma), an indeterminate phenomenon arises by not-root condition (na-hetupaccaya):
Conascent with one rootless (ahetuka) resultant-indeterminate (vipākābyākata) or functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) aggregate (khandha), there arise three aggregates and mind-originated matter (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); conascent with three aggregates, there arise one aggregate and mind-originated matter; conascent with two aggregates, there arise two aggregates and mind-originated matter. At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), conascent with one resultant-indeterminate aggregate, there arise three aggregates and kamma-born matter (kaṭattā-rūpa); conascent with three aggregates, there arise one aggregate and kamma-born matter; conascent with two aggregates, there arise two aggregates and kamma-born matter; conascent with the aggregates, there arises the base (vatthu); conascent with the base, there arise the aggregates. Conascent with one primary element (mahābhūta), there arise three primary elements; conascent with three primary elements, there arises one primary element; conascent with two primary elements, there arise two primary elements; conascent with the primary elements, there arise mind-originated matter and kamma-born matter that is derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa). External (bāhira) matter … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) matter … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) matter … For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), conascent with one primary element, there arise three primary elements … conascent with the primary elements, there arises kamma-born matter that is derivative materiality.
It should be elaborated in detail just as in the Dependence Section (Paṭiccavāra).
