[36] Could it be that, in dependence on (paṭicca) a wholesome phenomenon (kusala dhamma), a wholesome phenomenon might arise by root condition (hetu-paccaya), by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya)? … Could it be that, in dependence on a wholesome, an unwholesome (akusala), and an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon, wholesome, unwholesome, and indeterminate phenomena might arise by root condition, by object condition?
