[4] Predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): Predominance of zeal (chandādhipati) is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the phenomena (dhammā) associated with zeal and for the forms (rūpa) originated thereby.
Predominance of energy (vīriyādhipati) is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the phenomena associated with energy and for the forms originated thereby.
Predominance of mind (cittādhipati) is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the phenomena associated with mind and for the forms originated thereby.
Predominance of investigation (vīmaṃsādhipati) is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the phenomena associated with investigation and for the forms originated thereby.
Whatever phenomena arise giving weight to whatever phenomenon — that is, phenomena of mind and mental factors (citta-cetasikā dhammā) — those phenomena [given weight] are a condition, by way of predominance condition, for those phenomena [thus arisen].
