[1000] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of kamma condition (kamma-paccaya); is a condition by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); is a condition by way of faculty condition (indriya-paccaya).
