[1011] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) are a condition for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); they are a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
