[1010] A phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) — [these] phenomena (dhammā) — [are a condition] for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development … conascence (sahajāta), prenascence (purejāta), postnascence (pacchājāta), nutriment (āhāra), faculty (indriya). Here too, the object [condition] (ārammaṇa) and the decisive-support [condition] (upanissaya) exist.
