[1013] In the not-root condition (na-hetu), twenty-one; in the not-object condition (na-ārammaṇa), in the not-predominance condition (na-adhipati), in the not-proximity condition (na-anantara), in the not-contiguity condition (na-samanantara), in the not-conascence condition (na-sahajāta), in the not-mutuality condition (na-aññamañña), in the not-support condition (na-nissaya), in the not-decisive-support condition (na-upanissaya), in the not-prenascence condition (na-purejāta), in the not-postnascence condition (na-pacchājāta), in the not-repetition condition (na-āsevana), in the not-kamma condition (na-kamma), in the not-result condition (na-vipāka), in the not-nutriment condition (na-āhāra), in the not-faculty condition (na-indriya), in the not-jhāna condition (na-jhāna), in the not-path condition (na-magga), in the not-association condition (na-sampayutta), in the not-dissociation condition (na-vippayutta), in the not-presence condition (no-atthi), in the not-absence condition (no-natthi), in the not-disappearance condition (no-vigata), in the not-non-disappearance condition (no-avigata) — in all cases, twenty-one. It should be counted thus. The Negative Method (paccanīya) is concluded.
