[1590] A phenomenon (dhamma) with an immeasurable object (appamāṇārammaṇa) is a condition for a phenomenon with an immeasurable object by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). The preceding aggregates (khandhā) with an immeasurable object are in each case a condition for the succeeding aggregates with an immeasurable object by immediacy condition. Change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) is a condition for the path (magga); purification (vodāna) is a condition for the path; the path is a condition for fruition (phala); fruition is a condition for fruition, by immediacy condition.
