[1606] A phenomenon (dhamma) with an exalted (mahaggata) object is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon with a measureless (appamāṇa) object: Conformity (anuloma) with an exalted object is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity is a condition for cleansing (vodāna), by repetition condition.
