[1492] A limited (paritta) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for a measureless (appamāṇa) phenomenon by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya): change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) is a condition for the path (magga); cleansing (vodāna) is a condition for the path, by repetition condition.
