[1869] A phenomenon (dhamma) with the path as root (maggahetuka) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon with the path as predominance (maggādhipati) by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
