[1870] A phenomenon (dhamma) having the path as root (maggahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon having both the path as object (maggārammaṇa) and the path as predominance (maggādhipati) by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
