[1871] A phenomenon (dhamma) having the path as root (maggahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon that has the path as root and has the path as predominance (maggādhipati) by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
