[1894] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is bound to arise (uppādī) is a condition for an arisen (uppanna) phenomenon by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya).
Object predominance (ārammaṇādhipati): giving weight to the eye that is bound to arise … the body, forms … tangible objects, the base (vatthu) … the aggregates (khandhā) that are bound to arise, one relishes and delights in them; giving weight to that, lust (rāga) arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises.
