[1954] Dependent on a phenomenon with a present object (paccuppannārammaṇa dhamma), a phenomenon with a present object arises by non-root condition (na-hetupaccaya): Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) with a present object, three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates …; at the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (ahetuka-paṭisandhi); dependent on aggregates with a present object, accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), there arises delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness.
