[1961] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with a present object (paccuppannārammaṇa), a phenomenon with a present object arises, not by kamma condition (na-kamma-paccaya): Dependent on aggregates (khandha) with a present object, [there arises] volition (cetanā) with a present object.
