[1964] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) having a past object (atītārammaṇa), a phenomenon having a past object arises, not by path condition (na-magga-paccaya): Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) having a past object — the three questions are similar to those under "not by root condition" (na-hetu); delusion (moha) is absent.
