[2000] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a past object (atītārammaṇa) is a condition for a phenomenon with a present object (paccuppannārammaṇa) by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya) — proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya) and natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: contemplation of impermanence (aniccānupassanā), contemplation of suffering (dukkhānupassanā), and contemplation of impersonality (anattānupassanā) having a past object are a condition, by decisive-support condition, for contemplation of impermanence, for contemplation of suffering, and for contemplation of impersonality having a present object.
