[2064] Conditioned by an internal phenomenon (ajjhattaṃ dhammaṃ), an internal phenomenon arises by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya). This is similar to the dependent section (paṭiccavāra). Conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness [arises]; the body base … ; conditioned by the base (vatthu), the internal aggregates [arise].
