Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 2112

[2112] An external phenomenon (bahiddhā dhamma) is a condition for an external phenomenon by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), prenascent (purejāta), postnascent (pacchājāta), nutriment (āhāra), faculty (indriya). For the external there is no difference; the terms of the mātikā (matrix) should be elaborated in full.
