[363] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya).
Faculties (indriya) without thought-conception and without discursive thought are a condition for the associated aggregates (khandha) and for forms originated by mind (citta-samuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by faculty condition.
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhu-viññāṇa), the body faculty (kāyindriya) is a condition for body-consciousness (kāya-viññāṇa), by faculty condition. The material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) is a condition for kamma-produced forms (kaṭattā-rūpa) by faculty condition.
