[2233] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is invisible and impinging (anidassana-sappaṭigha) is a condition for a phenomenon that is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha) by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya): the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa); the body faculty (kāyindriya) is a condition for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) by faculty condition.
