[449] A phenomenon without applied thought and with only sustained thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) and a phenomenon without applied thought and without sustained thought (avitakka-avicāra) are a condition for a phenomenon with applied thought and with sustained thought (savitakka-savicāra) by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); are a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); are a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); are a condition by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya).
