[511] A phenomenon accompanied by rapture (pītisahagato dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by rapture by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). The preceding aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by rapture are a condition for the succeeding aggregates accompanied by rapture by way of immediacy condition. Conformity (anuloma) accompanied by rapture is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) by way of immediacy condition. By this method it should be shown to be a condition for all the terms (pada). Conformity is a condition for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage for the path (magga); cleansing for the path; the path for fruition (phala); fruition for fruition; conformity for the fruition attainment (phalasamāpatti) accompanied by rapture — by way of immediacy condition.
