[662] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing is a condition, by way of root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing. Roots (hetū) to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by way of root condition, for the associated aggregates (khandhā).
