[663] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development. Roots to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by root condition, for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
