Dassanenapahātabbahetukattika

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 878

[878] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing and for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Roots (hetū) with roots to be abandoned by seeing are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka-khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by root condition. By development (bhāvanāya) … three. … A phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development — neither by seeing nor by development … one.
