[879] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing. Delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) is a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates (khandhā).
