[880] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development (bhāvanā) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned by development. Delusion accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca) is a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates (khandhā).
