Dassanenapahātabbahetukattika

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 906

[906] A phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka dhamma) by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). Each preceding group of aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) is a condition for each subsequent delusion (moha) by immediacy condition. Aggregates with roots to be abandoned by seeing are a condition for emergence (vuṭṭhāna) by immediacy condition.
