[898] A phenomenon with a root to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka dhamma) and a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka dhamma) are a condition for a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned by seeing and a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development … Taking as object both the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) and the delusion (moha), both the aggregates accompanied by doubt and the delusion arise.
