[664] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing (dassana) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), both for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing and for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (bhāvanā): Roots (hetu) to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by root condition, for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
