[690] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by development (bhāvanā) is a condition, by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development. Aggregates (khandhā) to be abandoned by development are a condition, by way of immediacy condition, for emergence (vuṭṭhāna).
