[691] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba) is a condition, by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development.
The preceding, preceding aggregates (khandhā) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development are a condition for the subsequent, subsequent neither-by-seeing-nor-by-development … by immediacy condition.
Conformity (anuloma) [is a condition] for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage for the path (magga); cleansing for the path; the path for fruition (phala); fruition for fruition; conformity for the attainment of fruition (phala-samāpatti); for one emerging from cessation (nirodha), the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana) is a condition, by immediacy condition, for the attainment of fruition.
