Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 725

[725] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya). The preceding aggregates (khandhā) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development are, each in turn, a condition for the succeeding [aggregates] by repetition condition. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity is a condition for purification (vodāna); change-of-lineage is a condition for the path (magga); purification is a condition for the path — by repetition condition.
