[666] A phenomenon to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabba dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya pahātabba dhamma) … Roots (hetu) to be abandoned by development are a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
