[736] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development (bhāvanā) is a condition, by way of dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development.

Conascent: aggregates (khandhā) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development are a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), aggregates to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development are a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa); the aggregates are a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for the base (vatthu); the base is a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for the aggregates.
Prenascent: the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness, the body sense base (kāyāyatana) is a condition for body-consciousness; the base is a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for aggregates to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development.
Postnascent: aggregates to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development are a condition, by way of dissociation condition, for this prenascent body.
