[977] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) are a condition for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), and delusion (moha), are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa), by dissociation condition.
Postnascent: the aggregates accompanied by doubt, and delusion, are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body, by dissociation condition.
