[816] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka), a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Three. Similar to the dependence section (paṭicca-vāra). [Conditioned by] a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) … Three. Similar to the dependence section. Conditioned by a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), [a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned] neither by seeing nor by development … One. Similar to the dependence section. Conditioned by the base (vatthu), [there arise] aggregates (khandhā) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development.
