[820] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka), a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing arises, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): three. The same as under the object (condition) in the Dependence section (paṭicca-vāra). By development (bhāvanāya) … three. The same as the Dependence section. Conditioned by a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka), a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development … Conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, three aggregates [arise] … two aggregates. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), conditioned by the base (vatthu), the aggregates [arise]; conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa); conditioned by the body base (kāyāyatana), body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa); conditioned by the base, the aggregates with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development [arise].
