[908] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) is a condition for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by development by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya):
Each preceding [set of] aggregates (khandhā) with roots to be abandoned by development is a condition for each succeeding [set of] aggregates with roots to be abandoned by development by way of immediacy condition.
