[157] A phenomenon that is not a root but is accompanied by roots (nahetu sahetuko dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a root but is accompanied by roots by absorption condition (jhāna-paccaya): all four [sections] should be done. … is a condition by path condition (magga-paccaya): three [sections].
