A not-root, rootless phenomenon (nahetu-ahetuka) is a condition for a not-root, rootless phenomenon by faculty condition: faculties (indriyā) that are not-root and rootless are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka-khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by faculty condition; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) is a condition for the kamma-born forms (kaṭattā-rūpa) by faculty condition.
