[91] A phenomenon with root (sahetuka dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon with root by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya): three (ways).
A rootless phenomenon (ahetuka dhamma) is a condition for a rootless phenomenon by nutriment condition: rootless nutriments (āhāra) are a condition for the associated aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by nutriment condition; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa) [likewise]; edible nutriment (kabaḷiṅkāra āhāra) is a condition for this body by nutriment condition.
