[357] In the root condition (hetu-paccaya) there are seven [cases]; in the object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), nine; in the predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), nine; in the proximity condition (anantara-paccaya), nine; in the contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya), nine; in the conascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya), nine; in the mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya), nine; in the support condition (nissaya-paccaya), nine; in the decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), nine; in the prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya), three; in the postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), three; in the repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), nine; in the kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), three; in the result condition (vipāka-paccaya), one; in the nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya), three. … (Abbreviated.) In the path condition (magga-paccaya), nine; in the association condition (sampayutta-paccaya), nine; in the dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya), five; in the presence condition (atthi-paccaya), nine; in the disappearance condition (vigata-paccaya), nine; in the non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya), nine.
