[356] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a taint (āsava) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is a taint: the taint of sensual desire (kāmāsava) is a condition, by presence condition, for the taint of views (diṭṭhāsava) and for the taint of ignorance (avijjāsava). The wheel (cakka).
A phenomenon that is a taint is a condition, by presence condition, for a phenomenon that is not a taint: conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: the taints are a condition, by presence condition, for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
Postnascent: the taints are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body.
A phenomenon that is a taint is a condition, by presence condition, for a phenomenon that is a taint and for a phenomenon that is not a taint: the taint of sensual desire is a condition, by presence condition, for the taint of views, for the taint of ignorance, for the associated aggregates, and for mind-originated forms.
A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition, by presence condition, for a phenomenon that is not a taint: conascent, prenascent, postnascent, nutriment (āhāra), faculty (indriya).
Conascent: one aggregate that is not a taint [is a condition] for three aggregates … up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta).
Prenascent: [one contemplates] the eye … the base (vatthu) as impermanent … grief arises. One sees a form with the divine eye; one hears a sound with the divine ear element. The form base (rūpāyatana) [is a condition] for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the tangible base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), the eye base (cakkhāyatana) for eye-consciousness, the body base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness; the base is a condition, by presence condition, for the aggregates that are not taints.
Postnascent: the aggregates that are not taints are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent body. Edible nutriment (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) is a condition, by presence condition, for this body. The material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) is a condition, by presence condition, for kamma-born forms (kaṭattā-rūpa).

A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition, by presence condition, for a phenomenon that is a taint and for a phenomenon that is not a taint: conascent, prenascent.
Conascent: one aggregate that is not a taint is a condition, by presence condition, for three aggregates, for the taints, and for mind-originated forms; two aggregates … The wheel.

Conascent: one aggregate that is not a taint and the taints are a condition, by presence condition, for three aggregates and for mind-originated forms. Conascent: the taints and the primary elements (mahābhūta) are a condition, by presence condition, for mind-originated forms. The taints and the base are a condition, by presence condition, for the aggregates that are not taints.
Postnascent: the taints and edible nutriment are a condition, by presence condition, for this body. Postnascent: the taints and the material life faculty are a condition, by presence condition, for kamma-born forms.

Conascent: one aggregate that is not a taint and the taint of sensual desire are a condition, by presence condition, for three aggregates, for the taint of views, for the taint of ignorance, and for mind-originated forms; two aggregates … The wheel is to be bound.
