[355] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a taint (āsava) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta). Conascent: the taints are a condition for mind-originated material phenomena (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by dissociation condition. Postnascent: the taints are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body by dissociation condition. A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent, postnascent. Conascent: aggregates (khandhā) that are not taints are a condition for mind-originated material phenomena by dissociation condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the aggregates are a condition for the base (vatthu) by dissociation condition; the base is a condition for the aggregates by dissociation condition. Prenascent: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the body base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa); the base is a condition for the aggregates that are not taints by dissociation condition. Postnascent: aggregates that are not taints are a condition for this prenascent body by dissociation condition. A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition for a phenomenon that is a taint by dissociation condition: prenascent: the base is a condition for the taints by dissociation condition. A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition for a phenomenon that is a taint and for a phenomenon that is not a taint by dissociation condition: prenascent: the base is a condition for the taints and the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates by dissociation condition. A phenomenon that is a taint and a phenomenon that is not a taint are a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by dissociation condition: conascent, postnascent. Conascent: the taints and the associated aggregates are a condition for mind-originated material phenomena by dissociation condition. Postnascent: the taints and the associated aggregates are a condition for this prenascent body by dissociation condition.
